[PHOTO] The Most Expensive Christmas Tree in Europe: On Display in Munich, Worth Over Five Million Euros

The most expensive Christmas tree in Europe is on display in Munich today, and its value is even more than five million euros.

Its manufacturer calls it the most expensive Christmas tree in Europe, and Munich gold dealer Pro Aurum constructed it from 2,024 gold coins worth more than five million euros and is not for sale.

They may look like the foil-wrapped chocolate coins that many children would find in their Christmas stockings, but they are actually genuine one-ounce Vienna Philharmonic gold coins placed on an acrylic stand, with a giant 20-ounce coin on top.

The tree was made in collaboration with the Austrian Mint, and the three-meter-high tree took more than an hour to assemble, and will be exhibited at Munich’s Pro Aurum gold house.\
